The Challenge

Clearhead worked with marketing agency LAW Creative on video production for TRW's German Automotive campaign.

The Original Workshops campaign showcases the 'True Originals' in the aftermarket who share TRW’s dedication. These are workshop owners and installers who take a real pride in what they do, have clear ideas about best practice and have their own original ideas and solutions that make their garages stand out from the crowd.

One of the business owners, Rui, inherited A H Almeida as an original workshop business established by his father. "It's precious," Rui says. "It's more than just a business - it's part of the family, part of my life."

Clearhead worked closely with the creative and account teams at LAW Creative as the production unit for this campaign.

The Solution

A five day shoot in Portugal, Germany and England. The Clearhead crew shot in multiple exterior and interior locations and executed specialist drone cinematography as part of the production. In post production our team executed multiple reversions of the completed film captioning for multilingual distribution across Europe and Asia including Spain, Turkey, Germany, Russia, Portugal, Germany and China.

The result leading to over 759,000 views across languages on Youtube, making Rui's story one of the most successful films for the TRW brand.
